About The Role

Join our FX group as a Senior Software Engineer, where you will collaborate with colleagues across the organization to build and implement the technical strategy for a set of Engineering Products. You will lead change in exciting software challenges and customer solutions, and play a crucial role in addressing complex challenges and taking them to resolution. Collaborate with colleagues to build and implement the technical strategy for Engineering Products within the FX group.
Lead change in software challenges and customer solutions by applying business requirements and software engineering experience.
Act as a subject matter expert, delivering high-quality solutions through expert coding and tooling, and leading projects with minimal direction.
Familiarity with financial messaging protocols (preferably FIX)
Kafka (event-driven messaging)
Azure PaaS (Event Hub, Azure SQL, Kubernetes, Azure Cache, etc.)
Basic understanding of trading systems and financial markets
Terraform / Helm
SQL (Oracle / SQL Server)
Strong experience in software development and delivery
REST / WebSocket
Redis
Experience in 3+ of:
GitLab CI (or AWS equivalents)
Exposure to one or more of: Business/Technical Analysis, QA, Delivery Management, or Emerging Tech & Governance
Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (C++ preferred; Java/others a plus)
