Software Development Manager

In this role, you will manage the development of our Clearing Platform, lead a team of engineers in London, and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. • Gérer le développement de composants logiciels liés à la connectivité du marché, à l'enregistrement des transactions, au cycle de vie des transactions et à la reporting.
• Collaborer avec les équipes de développement, d'assurance qualité et de support informatique pour fournir des solutions de bout en bout de haute qualité.
• Diriger l'amélioration continue de l'ensemble de la pile informatique pour résoudre les défauts, améliorer la productivité de livraison et moderniser la plateforme.

• Solid understanding of Engineering Principles and Industry Good Practice applicable to Financial Markets Infrastructure
• Engineering of a Java / Oracle technology stack in a Financial Services environment
• Able to develop a vision for system improvement to be executed in iterations over multiple years
• Appreciation of DevOps tools and technologies such as GitLab, Ansible, Terraform and Helm
• Lead, coached and developed Engineering staff in business aligned teams
• Demonstrated ability to maximise automated test tooling
• Strong verbal and written English skills
• System design knowledge applicable to Derivative Trade Capture or Front‑to‑Back processing systems or similar. Will need to be able to lead all aspects of the engineering of external connectivity and protocol implementation (FpML workflows), trade life-cycling functions, data quality controls, retention strategies and Member, Client and Regulatory reporting solutions
• Delivery management of multi-person and multi-month initiatives following plans agreed with business stakeholders
• Knowledge of Credit Derivative Trade Capture and Life-cycling as well as knowledge of Derivative Clearing
• Embraced AI development tools in a team environment to successfully accelerate development and/or improve quality of output
• AWS Cloud Architecture experience
• Knowledge of market risk reporting will be useful
