About The Role

Join our Application Data Platform team as a Software Engineer II. You will design, build, and maintain data-intensive applications that power customer-facing features across REST APIs and UI components. Your primary language will be Python, and you will work closely with product managers, designers, security researchers, data scientists, and other engineers to deliver reliable, maintainable software that simplifies security for our customers.

  • Concevoir, développer, tester, déployer et maintenir des fonctionnalités d'application à travers des API, des services backend, des bases de données et des composants UI.

  • Experience with automated testing, debugging, and documentation
  • Understanding of software design principles and maintainable application development
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows
  • Curious, self-motivated, and comfortable learning from feedback and code review
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments
  • Familiarity with cloud-based application development using AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • 1+ year of Python development experience, or strong experience with another backend language and interest in working with Python
  • Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB
  • Experience building or maintaining REST APIs
  • Experience with Python web or asynchronous frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI, or Celery
  • Familiarity with OpenAPI, Swagger, or REST API contract design
  • Familiarity with containers or Kubernetes
  • Experience with backend-heavy full-stack development
  • Exposure to authentication and authorization concepts such as OAuth, OIDC, IAM, or SAML
  • Familiarity with SQL query tuning or performance optimization
  • Familiarity with LLM-assisted engineering tools such as Codex, Claude, OpenCode, or Cursor for workflows like code exploration, debugging, test generation, documentation, and implementation support
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
  • Interest in analytical, OLAP, or Lakehouse databases such as Snowflake, Delta Lake, Iceberg, or BigLake
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
