- Identifying opportunities and defining solutions to improve freight products.
- Owning key areas of Mudflap’s freight marketplace roadmap from discovery through launch and iteration.
- Driving cross-functional execution with engineering, design, data, operations, and commercial teams.
- Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, network effects, liquidity challenges, and participant incentives
- Experience working on operationally complex products involving multiple stakeholders and real-world constraints
- Strong track record of owning products from concept through launch and measurable business impact
- Analytical mindset with the ability to define metrics, diagnose problems, and make data-informed decisions
- Strong customer empathy and ability to translate customer problems into practical product solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in freight, logistics, transportation technology, marketplaces, fintech, or related industries
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Comfort operating in fast-moving environments where priorities evolve as new information emerges
- Proven ability to leverage AI to increase personal and team effectiveness across product discovery, customer insights, specification development, and decision-making, while recognizing where human judgment remains critical
- Excellent prioritization and decision-making skills in ambiguous environments
