About The Role

Join Aikido, a fast-paced startup focused on building a strong presence in the developer and security communities. As a Field Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for driving pipeline and awareness through events, community engagement, and regional campaigns. You will work closely with sales, partnerships, and marketing to plan and execute programs that connect Aikido with developers, security leaders, and startup teams. This remote-friendly position offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to make a significant impact in the tech ecosystem.

Plan and execute field marketing events, including meetups, dinners, roundtables, and industry conferences.
Collaborate with sales and partnerships teams to identify target accounts and opportunities, and support account-based marketing campaigns.
Build relationships within the developer and security communities to increase Aikido's presence and drive pipeline.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys owning events end-to-end, building relationships in the local tech ecosystem, and turning community engagement into real pipeline
Experience managing conferences, meetups, and regional marketing programs
Comfortable running events from concept to execution
4–7 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or community marketing
Experience supporting B2B SaaS, developer tools, or cybersecurity products
Strong collaboration with sales teams and pipeline-driven marketing programs
Organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
Existing relationships in the Bay Area startup or developer community
Experience in developer tooling, DevOps, or cybersecurity
Experience running events for technical audiences
