Legal Counsel

Join our team as a Legal Counsel, where you will take ownership of our commercial legal workflows in the US. This hands-on role requires a pragmatic commercial operator who can manage contracts end-to-end and keep the business moving. You will own the lifecycle of customer and partner agreements, review and negotiate contracts, maintain and improve contract templates, and ensure alignment with security, privacy, and compliance standards. Additionally, you will support HR documentation and policy updates, coordinate external counsel, assist with litigation or dispute-related documentation, and handle miscellaneous US legal matters as they arise.

• Ownership of commercial legal workflows in the US, including managing contracts end-to-end and ensuring alignment with security, privacy, and compliance standards.
• Reviewing, redlining, and negotiating contracts with enterprise and mid-market customers, and partnering closely with Sales to unblock deals quickly and responsibly.
• Maintaining and improving contract templates and playbooks, and managing contract tracking, approvals, and documentation processes.
• Ability to balance risk with pragmatism (you know when to push and when to move)
• Highly organized and process-oriented, but not bureaucratic
• Familiarity with security, privacy, or data processing agreements is a plus
• Experience in a high-growth SaaS or tech company preferred
• 3–5 years of hands-on commercial contracting experience, including drafting and negotiating NDAs and deal structures in the $50K–$100K range
• Strong experience reviewing and negotiating SaaS agreements
• Demonstrated experience with SaaS agreements and software licensing terms
• Knowledge of employment and HR-related legal matters
• Comfortable working directly with Sales teams and external stakeholders
• J.D. from an accredited law school required
