Junior iOS Engineer

Join our team as a Junior iOS Engineer and work alongside a motivated group of software engineers and academics. You will contribute to the design and implementation of user interfaces and features on iOS, take ownership of parts of the app, and collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers. This is a remote position with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

• Fluent in English, both in writing and reading, German is a plus
• Ability and motivation to quickly pick up new concepts and adapt to changes in the iOS ecosystem
• Motivation to learn modern iOS development practices and deepen your understanding of the platform
• Solid analytical thinking and an interest in understanding both technical and product-related problems
• Hands-on experience in iOS development, including initial experience in a professional setting (such as internships or working student roles), in addition to academic or personal projects.)
• A University degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science, engineering, natural sciences, etc.) or a comparable qualification
• Curiosity about other technology stacks and platforms beyond iOS
• Prior Fintech experience is not required, but interest in investing or digital finance is a plus. Ideally, you are curious about or already a customer of Scalable Capital
• Interest in building great user experiences and learning how to implement custom UI components
• Good communication skills and an openness to ask questions, give feedback, and learn from others
• Familiarity with Swift and the iOS SDK, and basic experience with UIKit and Auto Layout
