About The Role
Join Mastercard's Corporate Treasury team as a Manager of Foreign Exchange. In this high visibility role, you will manage global FX exposures, support cross-border business, and optimize processes. You will lead cross-functional projects, analyze global initiatives for FX impacts, and develop hedging solutions. Additionally, you will execute FX trades, manage relationships with trading counterparties, and support other functions with FX analysis. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in FX risk management, corporate treasury, accounting, or financial planning & analysis, and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Lead and manage cross-functional projects to ensure successful delivery of treasury and foreign exchange initiatives, including analyzing initiatives across the globe to determine any FX impacts and designing appropriate hedging solutions.
- Determine and execute FX trades to support Mastercard’s cross border business and manage global FX risk; drive hedging strategies and manage relationships with FX trading counterparties.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, proactively identifying and initiating projects that capitalize on favorable market conditions and improve operational performance.
- Knowledge of accounting concepts including hedge accounting, mark-to-market, balance sheet remeasurement, and SEC disclosures
- Proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; experienced with MS Excel and PowerPoint
- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions
- Experience delivering presentations and engaging with senior leadership
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and experience as a control process owner
- Prior FX risk management, corporate treasury, accounting, or financial planning & analysis experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate project goals, expectations, and progress to stakeholders
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in guiding cross-functional teams and fostering a collaborative work environment
- Successfully drive and integrate change; cultivate a continuous improvement culture
- Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects on time and within budget
