About The Role

Join Mastercard as the Vice President of Enterprise Strategy, where you will play a central role in shaping and communicating the company's corporate strategy. You will lead high-priority strategic projects, develop strategy presentations for C-suite executives and the Board of Directors, and generate new growth ideas. You will also partner with business leaders to design and advance their strategies, coach and develop junior team members, and maintain business landscape knowledge. This role requires extensive experience in strategy consulting or strategy roles within payments, financial services, or adjacent industries.

  • Lead major workstreams on emerging strategic issues and conduct ad hoc strategic reviews for the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Partner closely with senior executives and the Corporate Development team to inform and drive Mastercard’s inorganic growth agenda.
  • Develop strategy presentations and memos for C suite executives and the Board of Directors, synthesizing key issues, evaluating options, and articulating clear, fact-based recommendations.
  • Excellent presentation and writing skills, with the ability to independently develop high-quality executive-level outputs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, enterprise-level initiatives end-to-end, effectively driving forward project plans in global, matrixed organizations
  • Extensive experience in strategy consulting or strategy roles within payments, financial services, or adjacent industries
  • Executive presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior management and business partners
  • Strong understanding of Mastercard's products, services, and key revenue drivers, as well as the broader payment industry
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to challenge established views and assumptions at all levels and facilitate/lead discussions & debates
