Field Hardware Engineer, HPC

Join Mistral, a leading AI solutions provider, as a Field Hardware Engineer. In this hands-on role, you will work across compute, storage, interconnect, and cooling to maintain and scale one of France's largest GPU/CPU clusters. You will lead complex interventions, perform advanced diagnostics, guide and uplift L1 engineers, improve processes and automation, ensure safety and compliance, and manage parts and logistics. The position is based in Bruyères-le-Châtel, France, and requires mobility between sites.

• Lead complex interventions, plan and execute vendor-level or multi-node operations, and coordinate with vendors.
• Perform advanced diagnostics, correlate symptoms across compute, storage, interconnect, cooling, and identify root causes.
• Guide and uplift L1 engineers, coach on safe practices, first-line triage, and improve SOPs/checklists.
