Research Platform Engineer

Join Mistral, a leading AI solutions provider, as a Research Platform Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with the R&D team to build a cloud-agnostic platform that enhances stability, scalability, and velocity across the research department. You will design and implement complex systems, optimize builds, and build strong relationships with researchers. The position is hybrid or remote within the EU/UK, with one hub visit per month.

• Designing and implementing complex systems to improve the stability, scalability, and velocity across the research department.
• Building flexible yet solid and accessible development environments for researchers, enabling them to focus on their core mission.
• Optimizing a variety of builds, including container images, large libraries compilation times, and Python environments.
