Security Data Analyst (Parsing)

Join SpyCloud as a Security Data Analyst/Python Developer. In this role, you will parse, clean, and transform structured and unstructured datasets, build Python-based automation for the parsing platform, and analyze data for the marketing team. • Parse, clean, and transform structured and unstructured datasets to the spycloud schema.
• Build Python-based automation for the parsing platform and develop ETL-style automation scripts.
• Collaborate with the team to design and build innovative data systems, and analyze data based on the consumption of blogs for the marketing team.
• The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of Python, Data analysis techniques, AWS, ETL patterns, and Automation techniques
• Self-directed, empathetic, and eager to automate repetitive tasks
• Experience building data solutions and automation tools using Python
• Excellent communication skills
• 5-7 years of professional experience as a Python developer
• Proficient in Linux bash/ksh scripting and Regular Expressions
• Able to switch contexts as business needs change
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, data processing)
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Great team player
• A love of working with data. Familiarity with cleaning/transforming data
• Interest in cybersecurity
• Experience working with Infrastructure as Code (we use Terraform and Ansible)
• Experience with AWS (Compute, Storage, Database)
• Familiarity with Git version control system
• Background or strong interest in cybersecurity
