Staff Robotics Software Engineer

About The Role
Join our team as a Staff Robotics Software Engineer, where you will design and implement hard real-time algorithms, application logic, and state machines for the Telos robotic platform. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to develop software solutions based on clinical and user requirements. This role requires proficiency in C++ and Python, experience with real-time software applications, and a strong background in object-oriented programming and software architecture.
- Contribuer à la conception et au développement de l'infrastructure de la logique et des algorithmes d'application de la robotique.

- Experience with QNX/Realtime Operation Systems
- Experience with ROS
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience with multi-threaded applications and event driven architectures
- Strong background in object-oriented programming, software architecture, and design patterns
- Experience in algorithm development for robotics operation
- Experience developing software for safety-critical applications
- Experience in robotic control, real-time state-machine design
- Experience with real-time software applications
- Proficiency with C++ and Python
- 5+ years of controls, robotics, and state-machine experience
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with at least 8 years of experience or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and 6+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
