Senior Manager of Software Engineering (Platform/Infrastructure)

Join our Platform & Infrastructure organization as a Senior Manager of Software Engineering. In this role, you will build, lead, and manage a high-performing engineering team, focusing on core platform areas such as Infrastructure & SQL Reliability, Developer Experience (DevEx), or APEX Tooling & Platform. You will own team performance, delivery, technical direction, and long-term growth, while partnering closely with engineering and product leadership. Additionally, you will drive the execution of your team's quarterly roadmap, stay technically engaged, and identify and drive organizational improvements.

• B.S., M.S., or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Technical depth in one or more of: database reliability and distributed systems, CI/CD and build infrastructure, or internal developer platform tooling
• Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms (Azure preferred), infrastructure tooling (Kubernetes, Docker), and DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, version control, deployment systems)
• Ability to turn ambiguous strategy into sequenced roadmaps, clear ownership, and measurable outcomes
• 6–8+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing small to medium-sized engineering teams responsible for development, platform tooling, or infrastructure
• Experience with observability platforms (metrics, logs, tracing), performance engineering, or test automation frameworks is a strong plus depending on team alignment
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills — you can align stakeholders, navigate competing priorities, and translate technical topics for non-technical audiences
• Proven track record delivering high-quality software at scale — with strong ownership of team performance, processes, and long-term engineering goals
