About The Role

Join Glean, a company dedicated to building the world's best search and assistant product for work. As a Software Engineer (AI Infrastructure), you will work on a range of systems across the stack, including generative AI, query understanding, and natural language question-answering. You will design, build, and improve ML systems and data pipelines infrastructure, write robust code, and mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience, a BA/BS in computer science or a related degree, and strong coding skills in Python, Go, or Java.

Design, build, and improve machine learning systems and data pipelines infrastructure.
Write robust code that’s easy to read, maintain, and test, and mentor more junior engineers.
Interact regularly with customers to understand their pain points and use appropriate tools to solve their problems.
2-5 years of experience
Proven ability to design, build, and ship production-ready software, ideally around AI/ML infrastructure (Pipelines, Serving etc)
Thrive in a customer-focused, tight-knit and cross-functional environment - being a team player and willing to take on whatever is most impactful for the company is a must
BA/BS in computer science, math, sciences, or a related degree
A proactive and positive attitude to lead, learn, troubleshoot and take ownership of both small tasks and large features
Strong coding skills (Python, Go, Java)
