Software Engineer (Storage)

Join Glean, a company dedicated to helping organizations discover and act on their critical knowledge. As a Backend/Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for building and evolving the Storage layer that powers Glean's suite of storage options. You will work closely with several teams to support their workloads and drive real business impact. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in storage systems and a passion for infrastructure and cloud-native applications.

• Concevoir et développer des systèmes de stockage robustes et performants pour gérer les données sensibles de Glean.
• Assurer la disponibilité, l'évolutivité et la fiabilité des systèmes de stockage, en travaillant en étroite collaboration avec d'autres équipes.
• Mentorer les ingénieurs juniors et collaborer avec une équipe solide pour identifier et prioriser les projets les plus impactants.
• Experience with storage systems (e.g., databases, object stores, or distributed file systems)
• BA/BS in computer science, or related degree
• Experience working on infrastructure for distributed systems or cloud-native applications
• Thrive in a customer-focused, tight-nit and cross-functional environment - being a team player and willing to take on whatever is most impactful for the company is a must
• Familiarity with cloud native development practices in GCP/AWS/Azure is a plus
• Strong coding skills (for example in Go/Python/Java/C++ etc) with an emphasis on designing for reliability and scale, and writing well-tested components
• A proactive and positive attitude to lead, learn, troubleshoot and take ownership of both small tasks and large features
