About The Role

Join Glean as a Solutions Engineer in the DACH region, where you will be a trusted technical advisor to the local sales team, partners, and customers. You will work on exciting projects with forward-thinking organizations, guiding them on their Generative AI journeys. Your responsibilities will include performing interactive demonstrations of the Glean platform, educating technical teams on the architecture of the platform, scoping and executing pilot exercises, and training customers and partners on the product. You will also present at company-sponsored events and liaise with product managers and engineers.

  • Acting as a trusted technical advisor to the local sales team, partners, and customers in the DACH region.
  • Working on projects to guide organizations in their Generative AI journeys and helping them connect Glean to their decision-making platforms.
  • Performing interactive demonstrations of the Glean platform, educating technical teams on its architecture, and scoping and executing pilot exercises.
  • Familiarity with identity services and Single Sign-On (SSO) providers such as Azure/Entra ID, Okta, and protocols such as SAML, SCIM, and OIDC
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (IaaS) platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure
  • You are able to explain complex technical concepts in layman’s terms to help educate and train our customers, prospects, and partners
  • You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges
  • At least 5+ years of experience in enterprise software pre-sales and have used value-based discovery frameworks
  • You will have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • You are comfortable presenting, both virtually and in person,
  • Familiarity with APIs, including sending and receiving data from API endpoints, and how to troubleshoot issues
  • Familiarity with security concepts and tools, e.g. Firewalls, VPNs, SSL/TLS, DLP, WAFs, and proxies
