EGS Garage Assistant

Join MSX International, a leading partner to automotive brands worldwide. As an Engineering Garage Assistant, you will support the development of standardized repair timelines and ensure a clean and organized shop environment. This role requires a blend of mechanical interest and administrative precision.

• Document labor time studies and create a final report based on findings.
• Assist lead technicians in recording procedural data, tracking tool usage, and ensuring all investigative steps are captured.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; help clean shop, locate, move, and wash vehicles as needed.
• High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required
• Microsoft Office 365 proficiency especially Outlook and basic Excel skills
• Proficient typing skills
• DMS (Dealer Management System) experience not required but is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Organizational skills (e.g., time management, scheduling, prioritizing, efficiency).
• Able to work and function in an automotive shop environment.
• Clean driving record and employment background

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $20 to $24 hourly.
