Senior Credit Risk Analytics Manager (Credit Card)

Join Prosper, a leading financial technology company, as a Senior Credit Risk Analytics Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for portfolio credit strategies, oversight of credit quality and performance, and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver credit strategies and enhance risk strategies using machine learning models and credit data. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in credit risk management, strong business acumen, and exceptional communication skills.

• Develop and enhance credit strategies to improve credit performance using data, machine learning models, and advanced analytics tools.
• Oversee the life cycle of credit management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls, and recommend opportunities for improved efficiency and risk reduction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement credit strategies, monitor performance, and conduct ad-hoc analysis related to risk management.
• Ability to work productively in a remote/in-person hybrid working environment
• 3+ years of people leadership experience
• Outstanding thought leadership and skills to translate business problem into analytical problems; ability to build and enhance framework
• Strong business acumen and extensive knowledge about credit management
• A team player – collaborate with people across functions and a business owner mentality
• Exceptional communication skills in both written and oral – ability to communicate technical subject matter clearly and succinctly to other team members and Senior Management team
• A quick thinker and can handle questions on unfamiliar topics with convincing skills
• 8+ years of experience managing credit risk for credit card portfolios, driving profitable growth while achieving risk management objectives
• Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or Economics
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
