About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines, translating business needs into data solutions, and actively participating in code reviews and knowledge sharing. You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and analytics teams to deliver high-impact data solutions. - Contribuir al diseño, construcción y mantenimiento de tuberías de datos robustas (por lotes, en streaming y replicación) que alimentan la analítica, los informes y los casos de uso de cumplimiento.
- Traducir las necesidades comerciales en soluciones de datos en colaboración con gerentes de producto, equipos de ingeniería y partes interesadas comerciales.
- Monitorear proactivamente y abordar desafíos y oportunidades, ayudando a anticipar las necesidades de escalado, rendimiento y calidad antes de que se conviertan en bloqueadores.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in data engineering or related fields, with a track record of building and contributing to data pipelines and platforms
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Familiarity with Spark (PySpark and SparkSQL) and distributed data processing
- Proven ability to work independently and cross-functionally with product, engineering and business teams
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- Curiosity, accountability and a drive to improve data quality, scalability and usability across the company
- Experience working in teams with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows and Agile methodologies
- Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge in shell scripting and command line tooling (e.g. Databricks CLI)
- Familiarity with Databricks and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g.Terraform or equivalent)
- Familiarity with orchestration and transformation tools (e.g. Airflow, DBT)
- Fintech or capital market experience
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior team members
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance-driven reporting (e.g. FINRA, GDPR)
