About The Role

Join our team as a Senior Software Engineer (Core Trade) where you will work cross-functionally with various teams to support and enhance our trading system. You will lead the technical design and delivery of greenfield Java projects, analyze engine latency and throughput, monitor production systems, and deliver solutions for global partners across multiple asset classes. This role requires strong communication skills, experience with Fixed Income and Options asset classes, and a minimum of 5 years of experience with low latency, high throughput distributed systems.

Experience in brokerage, trading, fintech, e-commerce
Understanding of Java Garbage Collection
Must understand how to write effective unit and integration tests
5+ years of experience with low latency, high throughput distributed systems
Knowledge of message brokers and/or messaging libraries such as JMS, Kafka, ActiveMQ, Aeron or similar
Experience with application containerization tools such as Docker or Podman
Experience with FIX messaging protocol
Experience with PostgreSQL database
Experience with Linux shell scripting
