Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Join our Core Trade engineering team as a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer. You will be a key contributor in building a high-throughput, low-latency trading system aimed at democratizing investing globally. Your responsibilities will include technical design, architecture, and delivery of complex front-end and back-end features, driving architectural best practices, mentoring junior engineers, and partnering with key stakeholders to translate business goals into technical execution. You will also have the opportunity to pioneer the use of AI-assisted development tools and define measurable technical goals for your projects.

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and technical writing skills. You must be able to distill complex architectural concepts and designs into clear, understandable language for both engineering peers and business stakeholders
• Testing Champion: Deep understanding of, and advocacy for, rigorous testing standards, including unit testing (React Testing Library) and E2E testing (Playwright, Cypress)
• 5+ years of software development experience with deep expertise in TypeScript, modern JavaScript (ES8+), Java (60% backend / 40% frontend split), React, WebSockets, or similar technologies for complex, real-time data streaming, and Browser API and standards
• Problem Solving: A detail and results-oriented mindset with elite analytical abilities and a bias toward action
• System Design and Architecture at Scale: Proven track record of designing, building, and owning highly available architectures at scale
• AI Tooling: Strong familiarity with modern AI coding assistants and a demonstrated ability to leverage them to improve developer productivity safely
