IT Engineer

Join GlossGenius as an IT Engineer, where you'll be responsible for building and optimizing the infrastructure that supports our fast-paced business. You'll own key systems like Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and more, and work to automate manual operations. This is a build role, not maintenance, and you'll have the opportunity to define how IT and AI-powered tools scale together as the company grows. You must be able to commute to our NYC headquarters and work in-person five days a week.

• Architect and manage the Okta identity lifecycle, ensuring automated access management and compliance with security standards.
• Take ownership of the Iru-managed endpoint fleet, overseeing zero-touch provisioning and offboarding processes.
• Develop and implement AI-powered self-service workflows and automated processes to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
• Familiarity with least-privilege controls or audit evidence for SOC2, HIPAA, or a similar framework, or strong exposure to the concepts
• Exposure to MDM policy and macOS endpoint lifecycle, ready to grow into full ownership
• Make decisions and move: you don't wait for perfect information, you set a direction, ship something, and iterate based on what you learn
• Rebuilt workflows around AI: identified repeatable work, automated it, and redirected your time toward judgment-intensive problems that actually require a human
• 3+ years in IT engineering, identity, or endpoint systems, whether through deep ownership or strong hands-on exposure
• Curious about where talent operations and IT infrastructure intersect, and energized by the idea of building tools that accelerate hiring and onboarding
• Okta experience across group rules, SCIM, or Expression Language, from ownership to working exposure
• Comfortable influencing Security, Engineering, or People, or eager to build that skill
