About The Role

Join Riverlane, a pioneering company in quantum computing. As a Research Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development of the world's first Quantum Error Correction stack. You will work closely with researchers, mathematicians, physicists, and engineers to translate new ideas into high-quality software.   • Contribuer au développement d'algorithmes de décodage et à la mise en œuvre de logiciels de correction d'erreurs quantiques.
  • Collaborer directement avec les chercheurs pour traduire de nouvelles idées en logiciels robustes et de haute qualité.
  • Maintenir et faire évoluer les dépôts et les versions logicielles à un niveau d'ingénierie élevé.
  • Confidence in basics of linear algebra, discrete mathematics, and probabilities
  • Ability to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with collaborative programming
  • Experience with software engineering tools: CI/CD, containers, version control, static and dynamic code analysis
  • A passion for learning and curious mindset
  • MSc in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to discuss complex ideas with a variety of audiences, in a clear and simple way
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python is essential
  • An interest in quantum computing
  • Experience of shipping software to users
  • Experience of quantum computing
