Senior Software Engineer (Front End)

As a Senior Software Engineer (Front End), you will build intuitive, scalable, and high-performance software solutions for the automation of super-resolution microscopy. You will work closely with Product, UX, QA, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences while leveraging modern AI-powered development practices.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain modern applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, while building reusable, maintainable UI components and scalable frontend architectures.
• Contribute to architecture for building end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale, and participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, and collaborate closely with Product Managers, UX designers, scientists, and backend engineers to translate user needs into high-quality software.

• Minimum of 5 years experience as front end developer
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field
• Experience with state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, React Context or similar)
• Excellent programming skills in the following: React, JavaScript, Typescript
• Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with focus on clean code
• Familiarity with database technology such as Postgress/MongoDB/MySQL
• Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Familiarity with Git-based development workflows and CI/CD
• Demonstrated expertise and experience in building large scale applications
• Prompt engineering and effective AI workflows
• Leveraging AI to improve developer productivity while maintaining high engineering standards
