Senior Data Analyst (New Account Risk)

Join Chime, a leading financial technology company, as a Senior Data Analyst on the New Account Risk team. In this role, you will analyze enrollment and application data to identify opportunities to reduce synthetic identity and ID theft losses while ensuring a fast and frictionless path to membership for legitimate applicants. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, design and monitor new account risk policies, and build and maintain dashboards and reports. • Analyser les données d'inscription et de demande pour identifier les opportunités de réduction des pertes liées à l'identité synthétique et au vol d'identité.
• Soutenir la conception, les tests et le suivi des nouvelles politiques de risque de compte et des règles de décision, en collaborant avec les équipes Produit et Ingénierie.
• Construire et maintenir des tableaux de bord et des rapports qui suivent le taux d'inscription au tunnel, les pertes dues à la fraude et les taux d'approbation/faux positifs.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitatively rigorous discipline like engineering, statistics, math, or economics is preferred
• 3+ years of experience in a Fraud, Risk, Compliance, or Investigations role, ideally with exposure to new account enrollment, identity fraud, or KYC/CIP
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• The drive to work in a fast-paced environment and meet ambitious deadlines while ensuring flawless completion
• Exceptional detail-orientation and organizational skills; you’re eager to solve challenging analytical problems for our members

• Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Glean, Claude) to accelerate day-to-day analysis
• Working knowledge of identity fraud domains such as synthetic identity and identity theft, and an interest in the threat landscape that targets enrollment funnels
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Hex, or equivalent
• Strong SQL skills; familiarity with Python, R, or a similar analytical language preferred
