Software Engineer (Financial Platform)

Join Chime, a leading financial technology company, as a Software Engineer to help build a highly reliable and scalable financial platform. You will design, develop, test, and deploy components of the platform, ensuring it is secure, resilient, and auditable. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key member of a strategically important initiative for Chime.

• Design, develop, test, and deploy components of a new financial platform, ensuring high levels of trust with members.
• Deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance infrastructure and APIs, working with the infrastructure engineering team.
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding to incidents outside of regular working hours when necessary.
• Have contributed to the development of backend systems
• Experience in payment processing systems
• Must have experience in Go
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms, Cloud Native technology, No-SQL Databases as a bonus!
• Have an understanding of architectural patterns of large, mission-critical production services as a bonus!
• Please note: If you are located in Seattle, you will be required to onboard in person at our SF HQ + occasional business travel
• Have worked in continuous integration/deployment environments as a bonus!
• Have 4+ years of engineering experience
• Experience in additional backend languages such as Ruby, Java and Python is preferred
• Take a rigorous approach to testing backed development
