About The Role

Join Decathlon, a global leader in sporting goods retail, as the P2P Process Leader. In this critical role, you will spearhead the transformation, security, and performance of our end-to-end Procure-to-Pay ecosystem. You will lead a specialized team, drive process optimization, champion technology adoption, and influence key stakeholders. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on our financial integrity and global cost efficiency.

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of experts in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, aligning their focus with the company's financial goals.
  • Take ultimate responsibility for Vendor Master Data, enforcing controls to eliminate compliance risks and mitigate fraud risks.
  • Drive the end-to-end optimization of the P2P cycle, identifying bottlenecks and maximizing "Touchless" invoicing.

We are seeking a robust leader who combines deep financial acumen with a transformation mindset.

  • Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of solid experience within the P2P scope, with a proven track record of managing expert teams—ideally within a Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Services Center (SSC), or a complex multinational environment.
  • Critical Expertise: \* Deep understanding of internal controls (e.g., SoX compliance, segregation of duties) and Vendor Master Data governance.
  • Strong command of enterprise architectures.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Resilience & Leadership: Ability to challenge the status quo and navigate change resistance.
  • Analytical Sharpness: A data-driven decision-maker who can translate complex data into actionable process improvements.
  • Executive Communication & Pedagogy : Fluent and persuasive when interacting with C-level stakeholders, internal auditors, strategic suppliers and procurement & financial teammates round the world
  • Languages: Fluent English is recommended.
