Accounting Manager (Prime Financing)

Join Coinbase as an Accounting Manager for Prime Financing. In this role, you will own the end-to-end accounting function for Coinbase's prime financing and brokerage business. You will build processes and controls from the ground up, lead a team through monthly close and quarterly/annual reporting, and partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting as the business scales. You will also drive the design and implementation of new controls and processes for platform and brokerage accounting activities.

• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
• Direct experience with financing, lending, or prime brokerage accounting at a publicly traded company, including familiarity with SEC reporting requirements
• Working proficiency in NetSuite, FloQast, and Google Suite, with the ability to leverage these tools to streamline close and reporting workflows
• Proven track record of building accounting processes and internal controls from the ground up, including designing SOPs and implementing automation that reduced close timelines or error rates
• Experience managing or leading a team through monthly close cycles and quarterly/annual reporting, with demonstrated ability to meet tight regulatory deadlines
