Senior Business Operations Associate (Institutional)

Join Coinbase as a Senior Business Operations Associate in the Institutional group. In this role, you will partner with senior leadership to tackle strategic and operational challenges, build quantitative business cases, and translate data into executive-level recommendations. You will have a deep understanding of competitive positioning and the evolving crypto landscape, and you will own problems end-to-end, from initial framing through analysis, recommendation, and implementation.

• Collaborate with senior leadership to address strategic and operational challenges, structuring complex problems and building quantitative business cases.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of competitive positioning and the evolving crypto landscape to inform product and go-to-market strategy.
• Design and implement experiments to validate hypotheses, measure impact, and drive measurable changes across Institutional products.
• Track record of delivering clear, concise written and verbal recommendations to senior stakeholders in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
• Proven ability to build quantitative models and business cases that have directly influenced executive or leadership decisions
• Familiarity with institutional finance, capital markets, or crypto/digital assets markets
• 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or product strategy, with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end strategic workstreams
• Exposure to SQL and BI tools (e.g., Hex, Superset, Looker) or crypto analytics tools (e.g., Dune Analytics, Etherscan) is a plus but not required
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
