Data Analyst Internship (M/F) - 6 Months

About The Role

Join Lesaffre, a global leader in yeasts and fermentation, as a Data Analyst intern. In this role, you will analyze data, develop and deploy our internal bread-making test management application, and optimize internal digital tools. You will collaborate with various business teams and contribute to fostering a data-driven culture within the marketing department. This is a 6-month internship based in Lille, France, starting in September.

  • Collect, clean, and prepare data, conduct data quality audits, and implement automation to ensure higher data quality.
  • Collaborate with business teams to understand their needs, produce business analysis, and design and implement Power BI dashboards.
  • Identify new tools and technologies to improve data analysis, and participate in integrating the internal Bamareto application with the Data Platform.

Education

  • In the final year of a master’s program (Bac+5),
  • Engineering school, university degree in statistics/data,
  • A dual degree in agricultural engineering, biology, or chemistry combined with data science would be a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in visualization tools (Power BI),
  • Solid knowledge of database management (SQL, DAX, Data Verse),
  • Proficiency with MS Office 365 tools (Power Apps, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint) Basic knowledge of Python would be a plus,
  • Knowledge of information systems engineering is a plus (React.js, Node.js),
  • Basics of Data Security Management and Change Resistance Management.

  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills, both internally and externally (with external service providers).

Languages

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential,
  • Spanish is a plus.
