Research Scientist

Join Hedra as a Research Scientist, where you will drive original research at the intersection of generative modeling, embodied AI, and real-world physical applications. You will have access to large-scale compute, the freedom to pursue high-impact research directions, and a direct path to publication at top venues. Your work will involve defining and leading research directions, designing novel architectures and training objectives, and partnering with industrial collaborators. You will also mentor research engineers and contribute to Hedra's research culture and external scientific reputation.

• Conduire des recherches originales à l'intersection de la modélisation générative, de l'IA incarnée et des applications physiques réelles.
• Définir et diriger les orientations de recherche dans les modèles du monde conditionnés par l'action, l'IA physique et la modélisation générative pour les systèmes incarnés.
• Collaborer avec des partenaires industriels pour ancrer la recherche dans des cas d'utilisation réels de l'IA physique.
• Background in embodied AI, robotic manipulation, or sim-to-real transfer is highly desirable
• PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, with publications at top ML or robotics venues
• Deep expertise in generative modeling, world models, or vision-language(-action) models
• Strong collaboration and communication skills — comfortable bridging research and applied teams
• Experience with large-scale model training and modern deep learning infrastructure
• Ability to independently drive research projects from ideation through publication
• Strong publication record at NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, CoRL, or equivalent venues
• Experience with RLHF, DPO, or preference optimization for model alignment is a plus
