About The Role

Join Imprint as a Senior Enterprise IT Engineer, where you will be responsible for the design, automation, management, and support of the company's core IT infrastructure and employee technology services. You will work closely with various teams to understand pain points, gather requirements, and design scalable IT systems. This role is critical to maintaining security, scaling internal operations, and building reliable systems that enable employees to work efficiently across a distributed organization.

  • Establish clear ownership of identity and access management systems, including SSO, MFA, user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable IT systems, workflows, automations, and AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, reliability, security, and employee experience.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the business to understand pain points, gather requirements, and design IT systems and workflows that meet operational needs.
  • This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who can both administer enterprise systems and design, build, automate, and continuously improve solutions using AI where appropriate
  • You should be comfortable writing code, integrating SaaS platforms, designing secure workflows, maintaining reliable IT services, and managing IT systems with an eye toward cost, scalability, operational efficiency, and AI-enabled productivity
  • Ability to prioritize and respond to support requests efficiently while improving the systems and processes that generate them
  • Demonstrated bias for action and urgency, especially in critical situations requiring immediate response
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ownership mindset
  • Hands-on experience with MFA, SSO, lifecycle management, VPNs, endpoint security, and access control systems
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining IT systems, workflows, integrations, automations, or AI-enabled solutions
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise IT, systems engineering, IT automation, infrastructure administration, or a similar role
  • Experience working with APIs, webhooks, automation platforms, AI tools, or integration platforms
  • Strong working knowledge of macOS, Windows, and Linux environments
  • Knowledge of collaboration and business productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Jira, Confluence, AI productivity tools, or ticketing systems
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into technical solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency with identity management platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, Rippling, or similar
  • Familiarity with device management tools such as Jamf, Intune, Kandji, Mosyle, or similar
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and support both technical and non-technical users
  • Experience with IT planning, budgeting, cost forecasting, license management, or cost optimization
  • Solid understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls, and secure connectivity
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across systems, SaaS platforms, devices, networks, and identity layers
  • Hands-on experience writing code or scripts using languages such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, or similar
  • Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or other regulated environments
  • Familiarity with security tools such as endpoint detection and response, vulnerability management, DLP, SIEM, or CASB platforms
  • Experience supporting security, compliance, audit, or risk management programs
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, CI/CD, or cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Experience building internal tools, bots, dashboards, workflow automations, or AI-enabled support tools
  • Experience with AI tools or AI-assisted automation for IT operations
  • Track record of supporting cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities in high-growth environments
  • Experience designing scalable onboarding, off-boarding, access review, device compliance, SaaS governance, or cost optimization programs
