Engineering Manager (Billing Platform)

Join Sentry, a leading software monitoring platform, as an Engineering Manager for the Billing Platform. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for critical workflows such as checkout and invoicing, while also developing new features to help customers manage their spend growth. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, BizOps, marketing, and sales to build systems that enable new products and pricing models. Additionally, you will define and drive the team's roadmap, provide technical guidance, and lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented engineers.

• 2+ years of engineering management experience
• 5+ years professional engineering experience, preferably with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or similar
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to articulate technical concepts and tradeoffs clearly and succinctly
• Experience working on a customer-facing product, ideally within developer tools or high-traffic product surfaces
• Experience with scoping work, performing resource allocation, and establishing engineering milestones and delivery dates
• Experience owning a product area end-to-end, from shipping new features through long-term maintenance and iteration
