Senior Software Engineer (Developer Infrastructure)

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Developer Infrastructure team, you will optimize and scale Sentry's delivery process, improve onboarding for new engineers, and define and monitor key delivery metrics. • Optimizing and scaling Sentry’s delivery process to ensure engineers can ship high-quality code quickly and confidently.
• Developing deployment processes and tools to ensure software gets to customers safely and efficiently.
• Improving onboarding by automating setup tasks, introducing engineers to key tools and processes, and accelerating their first successful deployment.

• Believe that automating repetitive tasks improves both speed and consistency
• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer or in a similar role
• Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) systems
• A track record of customizing or building developer tooling
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using Docker in production environments and for local development
