Mechanical Engineer (All Levels)

Join our team as a Mechanical Engineer, where you will design, test, and implement key hardware components for our humanoid robot. You will work with 3D CAD software, build prototypes, generate accurate 2D drawings, and collaborate with our GSM team to select suppliers and order parts. You should have experience with high volume manufacturing processes, contract manufacturers, and prototype design. A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical, Biomechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a similar field is required, along with 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.

• Design and develop key hardware components for humanoid robots, ensuring they meet load conditions and durability requirements.
• Build prototypes, conduct tests, and iterate on designs based on testing results to improve performance and functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including suppliers and contract manufacturers, to ensure successful implementation of designs.
• Experience with high volume manufacturing processes
• Expert in using 3D CAD software to design parts with complex geometry
• Experience working with contract manufacturers
• Experience designing and building prototypes
• Ability to write and maintain clean documentation for design processes
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Biomechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar field
• Wire harness design experience
• CATIA V6 Experience
• Experience with electromechanical integration, such as sensors, motors, motor drivers, wire harnesses, and communication buses
• Experience with actuators, including strain-wave, planetary, or cycloidal
• Experienced with simulation and analysis methodology (FEA, MATLAB etc.)
• 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
