Security Engineer (Product and Device Security)

Join Figure, a cutting-edge robotics company, as a Security Engineer. In this role, you will focus on designing, implementing, and managing the security of our robot and associated backend services. You will conduct security reviews, design technical solutions to mitigate security weaknesses, and build frameworks to prevent vulnerabilities. You will also assist with security incident response and be a champion for security and user privacy. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in software security, experience in embedded system security domains, and strong electrical engineering skills.

• Conduire des examens de sécurité des applications, des services back-end et des intégrations commerciales, ainsi que construire des outils pour un cycle de développement sécurisé.
• Concevoir des solutions techniques pour atténuer les faiblesses de sécurité et travailler avec les équipes de l'entreprise pour les mettre en œuvre.
• Construire des cadres et des systèmes pour prévenir les classes de vulnérabilités.
• Solid foundation in software security, esp low level security (C/C++, compilers, etc.)
• Experience in several of the following embedded system security domains: hardware reverse engineering, firmware security, security architecture & design, electrical engineering and design, micro-controller security, and cryptography
• 3+ years of experience in the field of application/hardware security or related security role
• Strong electrical engineering (not scripting or automation) skills and ability to reverse engineer hardware interfaces, communication protocols, and embedded systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high attention to detail
• Passion for learning and helping others
• BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent years of experience in a related technical field
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders whilst prioritizing tasks and work independently under minimal supervision
