Supplier Quality Engineer (BotQ)

Join our team as a Supplier Quality Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in onboarding new vendors and evaluating their quality. You will develop and implement quality plans for suppliers, monitor performance metrics, and drive improvement initiatives. Your expertise in manufacturing processes, quality systems, and industrial engineering principles will be essential in resolving quality issues and implementing corrective actions. This position requires a strong mechanical background, with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field and at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.

• Evaluate and qualify new suppliers, develop and implement quality plans for suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive improvement initiatives to meet or exceed quality targets.
• Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Proven experience with process validation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and industrial engineering principles
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
• Review supplier process plan and drive improvements before start of production
• Expert at GD&T
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Biomechanical, Robotics, Mechatronics, or similar field
• CATIA V6 experience
• 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering
• Robotics or other high tech industry experience
