Validation Engineering Intern (Fall 2026)

Join Figure, an AI Robotics company focused on developing a general-purpose humanoid designed to address labor shortages and perform undesirable or unsafe jobs. As a Validation Engineering Intern, you will support the design, automation, and execution of system-level validation across our humanoid platform. You will architect hardware and software solutions for validating humanoid subsystems, write Python scripts to automate validation and regression testing, and contribute to the development of a CI/CD pipeline for hardware/firmware/software integration. This internship is ideal for students in their final year of an undergraduate or master's program, as well as recent graduates.

• Support the design, automation, and execution of system-level validation across the humanoid platform.
• Architect hardware and software solutions for validating humanoid subsystems, and write Python scripts to automate validation and regression testing.
• Contribute to the development of a CI/CD pipeline for hardware/firmware/software integration, and debug and resolve software regressions and hardware issues.
• This internship is designed for students in their final year of an undergraduate or master’s program, as well as recent graduates who are on track to complete their degree by the end of 2026, or the following year
• Experience with Git and version control workflows
• Proficiency with Python or a similar programming language
• Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering
• Minimum 12-week internship, 1 to 2 terms preferred
• Graduate student or recent graduate in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems
• Experience with firmware development in C
• Exposure to PCB design and troubleshooting
• Hands-on work with sensors, motors, or electromechanical systems
