People Operations Partner
Culture Amp · San Francisco, United States
About The Role
Join Culture Amp as a People Operations Partner, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering a seamless, fair, and human-centered employee experience. You'll manage end-to-end processing of employee lifecycle events, co-create AI solutions for People Ops, support compliance and policy coordination, maintain HRIS data integrity, and proactively identify process improvements. This role is perfect for someone with 1-3 years of experience in HR Operations or a similar operational generalist role, who is detail-oriented, data-driven, and has a passion for building efficient processes.
- Own employee lifecycle operations, managing end-to-end processing of all employee lifecycle events.
- Co-create AI solutions for People Ops, partnering with the People and Systems Analyst to design, test, and iterate on AI-powered tools.
- Support compliance and policy coordination, assisting with policy communications and version control, and maintaining jurisdiction-specific compliance checklists.
- If you're energised by the intersection of operational rigour and emerging technology, and you want your work to have a direct impact on the experience of hundreds of people across the globe, this is the role for you
- 1–3 years in HR Operations, People Operations, or a similar operational generalist role - enough grounding to understand what good HR delivery looks like and where it tends to break down
- Multi-jurisdiction exposure is advantageous - AU, multi-state US, UK or similar
- Comfortable with automation or AI tools (like Zapier, Make, Power Automate, ChatGPT, or Claude) - you don't need to be technical, but you should have built something yourself, or be genuinely keen to learn
- A demonstrated track record of building things to solve process problems - in any context. This could be automating a reporting workflow, building a tool to replace a manual spreadsheet, or creating a system to manage something previously tracked in email. The domain is less important than the evidence
- Exposure to HRIS platforms (Workday, BambooHR, or similar) - expert-level proficiency isn't required, though hands-on BambooHR experience would be a huge plus
- Detail-oriented and data-driven - you understand that accuracy in systems and records is foundational, not optional
- Curious and growth-oriented - you're excited by the opportunity to work at the frontier of AI in People Operations, and you bring a learning mindset to everything you do
- A builder at heart - you look at inefficient processes and feel compelled to fix them, not just flag them
- A collaborative partner - you work well across teams and time zones, and you know when to bring others in and when to move independently
- Research shows that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds may hesitate to apply if they don’t meet every requirement, but your unique experience matters. If you’re interested in joining us, we strongly encourage you to apply and help us build a more diverse and impactful team
