Program Delivery Management Director

You will also partner with senior leadership to shape and evolve the planning system, maintain a portfolio-level view of commitments, and define the delivery operating rhythm. Additionally, you will drive the integration of AI tools into program management and own the metrics strategy for delivery flow data. • Lead and develop a team of Program and Delivery Managers, setting the standard for planning ownership, delivery partnership, and systemic problem-solving.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape and evolve the planning system, maintaining a portfolio-level view of commitments, capacity, and delivery confidence.
• Define the AI strategy for program and delivery management, identifying where AI tools can meaningfully improve how programs are planned, tracked, and delivered.
• You have built and led high-performing program management teams in complex, fast-moving product organizations. You know how to design systems that make delivery predictable – and how to drive change in organizations that aren’t yet ready for it
• Fluency in agile delivery practices and hands-on experience with delivery tooling (Jira, Confluence, or equivalents); experience leading program managers across multiple geographies and time zones
• The strategic clarity to see across a portfolio and the operational depth to get into the detail when it matters – and the judgment to know when each is required
• 7+ years in Technical Program Management, Delivery Management, or Engineering Program Management, including 4+ years leading a team of program managers within a multi-team Product and R&D organization
• The analytical capability to build a metrics framework, interpret delivery-flow data, and construct a clear narrative that drives leadership decisions
• A track record of designing and owning planning and delivery systems at scale – accountable for the quality and reliability of the output, not just the facilitation of the process
• A genuine interest in how AI tools are reshaping program and delivery management, and the drive to lead adoption where it creates measurable value for the team
• Proven ability to drive change in complex, matrixed organizations – building alignment around new ways of working, even when it requires pushing against resistance
• High ownership and a team-first mindset – you bring problems with proposed solutions, develop others to do the same, and measure yourself by what the team achieves
• Executive presence and communication range – equally effective in a technical dependency conversation with an engineering lead and a portfolio risk briefing with the CPTO; able to influence without authority across functions and levels
