Global Controller

Join our team as the Global Controller, where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of US accounting, reporting, and compliance. You will lead the month-end close process, automate workflows, and coordinate audits across multiple jurisdictions. This role requires a strong attention to detail, mastery of US GAAP, and knowledge of US and international tax. You will also be responsible for payroll compliance and building scalable finance processes.

• Ownership of US accounting, reporting, and compliance, including day-to-day bookkeeping, technical GAAP calls, tax filings, and audits.
• Leading month-end close, automating workflows, and coordinating auditors across multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Managing US federal and state corporate tax, international tax, and ensuring compliance with regulatory changes.
• You run US federal and state corporate tax plus international tax - quarterly estimates, filings, cross-border entity structures, and transfer pricing - coordinating external advisors and staying ahead of regulatory change
• You thrive autonomously in a fast-paced startup - comfortable with ambiguity, extreme attention to detail, happy in the weeds. Bonus: you've stood up a finance function from scratch
• You lead audits and reporting - annual financial statements, audit prep, investor updates and due diligence, plus the management dashboards and variance analyses behind strategic decisions
• You own the general ledger and the monthly, quarterly, and annual close in US GAAP - revenue recognition, accruals, capitalization, and reconciliations - fast and precise, with the policies and internal controls to back it
• You bring 10-15 years including Big 4 / public accounting, deep US GAAP and financial-statement expertise, and hands-on US + international tax across multi-entity structures and complex reconciliations
• You own payroll compliance - payroll taxes, filings, and the PEO/provider relationship
• You build and automate scalable finance processes across accounting, billing, payroll, and reporting - an AI-native operator who uses modern AI tooling to kill manual work and error risk, excited to build a lean, heavily automated finance function
