About The Role

Join Spectro Cloud as a Senior Technical Writer, where you will create user-friendly content that meets our customers' needs. You will work closely with developers, engineers, and other technical staff to document our technology and software. Your responsibilities will include creating how-to guides, conducting hands-on testing, collaborating with various teams, authoring technical blogs, and mentoring junior writers. You should have 4+ years of experience as a technical writer, be comfortable with developer tools, and have excellent communication skills.

Collaborate with technical staff to understand and document technology and software.
Create user-friendly content, including how-to guides, feature documentation, and technical blogs.
Mentor and support junior or mid-level technical writers, providing feedback and sharing best practices.

Displays a passion for learning and exploring new technologies
Experience with infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware)
Familiar with containers and Kubernetes
Comfortable creating diagrams and visual resources to help the learning process
Comfortable using developer tools such as git, CLIs, Docker, and GitHub
Ability to dive into technical features by themselves and create documentation
4+ years of experience as a technical writer
Comfortable writing in Markdown
Able to coach and mentor other technical writers
Experience in analyzing information architecture and restructuring content
Experience with Docs-as-Code processes
Excellent communication skills
Experience with AI tools and workflows
Cloud certifications, such as the AWS cloud certifications
