About The Role

Join our team as a Principal Technical Product Marketing Manager, where you will own the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market narrative for our commercial and public sector business. This senior individual contributor role requires a deep understanding of technical concepts, excellent storytelling skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will work closely with product, engineering, and sales teams to translate complex AI concepts into clear, compelling stories that resonate with a range of audiences.

  • Own and set the messaging and positioning strategy across commercial and public sector audiences, and keep it sharp as the product and market evolve.
  • Partner closely with commercial and public sector sales and business development teams to understand their selling motion end to end, then build the content, narratives, and assets that accelerate deal velocity at each stage of the funnel.
  • Lead product launches end to end, from positioning and narrative through to field enablement and readiness.
  • The ideal candidate has done this at a startup or a fast-growing private or public company and knows how to build the marketing engine while the plane is still being flown
  • The ability to go deep on technical subject matter, particularly AI and machine learning concepts, and explain it clearly to a range of audiences
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the judgment to adapt tone and depth to the audience
  • A self-starter mindset and the resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, high-growth environment
  • 8+ years of product marketing experience with a strong technical orientation, including time at a startup or a fast-growing private or public technology company
  • A history of influencing peers, leaders, and roadmap direction without formal authority, and of raising the bar for those around you
  • Bachelor's degree, minimum
  • Direct experience partnering with product and engineering teams, and comfort working alongside PMs and engineers to shape demos and product narratives
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a senior individual contributor: setting direction, driving cross-functional initiatives, and delivering with minimal oversight
  • A track record of owning messaging and positioning strategy that sales and BD teams adopt and that measurably moves pipeline and deal velocity
  • Strong instincts for both commercial and public sector selling motions, and the versatility to speak to a range of buyers within each
  • Experience in developer marketing or working directly with AI/ML practitioners
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and AI model deployment
  • Familiarity with on-device, edge, or distributed AI, including running and optimizing large models on local or consumer hardware
  • Strong technical acumen with hands-on experience in AI, ML, vector search, cloud computing, or databases
  • Proven track record in launching technical products and driving adoption in commercial and developer communities
  • Hands-on experience building or scripting product demos
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Developer Relations, and Sales teams
