Senior Product Designer

Join our team as a Senior Product Designer, where you'll shape product direction, set design standards, and drive impact across our flagship application. You'll work from early-stage concept through final implementation, partnering with engineers, designers, researchers, and product to create intuitive and polished experiences. Your influence will extend beyond your designs, as you'll raise the bar for the entire team through your judgment, critique, and ability to bring people along. This role reports to the Director of Design and offers a remote-first work environment with flexible time off and comprehensive health coverage.

• Lead design direction across major product initiatives, from early problem framing through shipping, and serve as a design lead across the full product development cycle.
• Establish and evolve the design patterns and principles that elevate the team's product work, and partner with and influence engineering, product, and research beyond your immediate scope.
• Prototype, validate with users, and ship production-ready work with the support of AI-assisted tools, and lead through critique, giving feedback that sharpens thinking.
• The ideal candidate has strong opinions, holds them loosely, and communicates with precision and clarity
• They move through ambiguity without losing momentum, and they make the people around them better
• They're as comfortable presenting to leadership as they are rolling up their sleeves in a design review
• Comfortable bringing your own designs to life with AI-assisted tools, or eager to learn. We're an AI-native team where designers own their work through to what ships
• Strong UX judgment: flows, states, edge cases, and systems thinking, not just visuals
• Demonstrated ability to influence product direction beyond your direct work
• Updated portfolio of design work available for review (please include on resume)
• Relentless attention to the details that make an experience feel right: typography, spacing, hierarchy, motion, and interaction feel
• A track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects from concept to launch with minimal oversight
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to articulate design rationale to any audience, from engineers to executives
• 7+ years in UX or product design, with a portfolio that demonstrates exceptional craft, attention to detail, and strategic impact
• Proficiency in Figma
• Experience mentoring designers and contributing to team craft standards
• Expertise in prototyping, motion, or data visualization
• Experience designing for technical, developer-facing, or data-rich products
• Deep familiarity with emerging technologies: AI/ML, LLMs, conversational UI
