  • Coordination and alignment of cross-functional teams to ensure successful development and commercialization of complex robotics hardware and software.
  • Driving high-level strategic initiatives while also contributing directly to project execution, including managing the development of complex hardware and software.
  • Mentoring and coaching team members, stakeholders, and business analysts throughout the project experience, while fostering effective working relationships across the organization.
  • This position requires a program management background and direct experience developing complex systems
  • Your ability to take large, complex projects, break them into manageable pieces, and deliver timely results is invaluable
  • Your ability to understand the big picture of the project design and anticipate and plan dependencies is crucial
  • Experience developing or working on an end-to-end robotics or automotive system
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. Advanced Degree preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in metrics, working through data sets, project forecasting, and scheduling
  • 8+ years of direct hands-on experience as a systems, hardware and/or software engineer working with complex and integrated hardware and software systems
  • This position requires strong interpersonal skills essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Working understanding of how to identify and project manage through complex regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Proven ability to influence cross functional team members to meet aggressive project plans while comfortably escalating risks and proposing mitigation solutions to senior leadership
  • Demonstrated enterprise-level perspective across engineering, product, commercial, operations, and finance, with strong judgment around cross-functional tradeoffs and downstream impacts to program execution and product delivery
  • Strong hardware and software process development and implementation experience - including experience with both waterfall and Agile environments and how to bridge between waterfall and Agile
  • 15+ years of direct hands-on experience working in a cross functional Technical Program Management role implementing complex integrated hardware/software products in the automotive, robotics, consumer electronics, or aerospace industries
  • Experience in projecting and managing project financial and operational impacts
  • Utilizes in daily practice process improvement skills throughout all efforts and projects, with timely project completions
  • Demonstrated ability and proven track in prioritizing and managing concurrent projects and project tracks of work
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of relevant engineering environments, terminology, practices, language, and products, and possessing enough knowledge in robotics or similar development from concept through to commercialization. Manufacturing experience is advantageous
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for excellence, and an emphasis on the need to work in sometimes fast paced environments
