Senior Sales Engineer (Enterprise - German Speaking)

Join Fivetran, a leading data replication solutions provider, as a Senior Sales Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with our Enterprise sales team to understand complex business needs and showcase how our solutions can help achieve desired outcomes. You will provide technical expertise, identify requirements, and ensure a successful proof-of-value throughout the sales cycle. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in data replication, sales engineering, or a related technical field, and be fluent in German.

• Bereitstellung technischer Expertise, Identifizierung technischer Anforderungen und Sicherstellung eines erfolgreichen Proof-of-Value während des gesamten Verkaufszyklus.
• Entwicklung und Durchführung technischer Präsentationen für Enterprise-Publikum und Gewährleistung des technischen Gewinns durch einen organisierten Proof-of-Value-Prozess.
• Hands on experience with other data replication or ETL tools
• Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, and NoSQL databases
• 5+ years in data replication, sales engineering, or related technical field
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a keen ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with modern data analytics technologies, including cloud data warehouses, transformation tooling, data catalogs, and BI tools
• Strong technical background covering database replication, cloud infrastructure, and data replication technologies with some form of hands on experience
• Native/Professional Proficiency in German
• Hands on networking experience both in the cloud and on-premise
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with self-hosted software applications and supporting infrastructure
• Experience developing partner relationships
• Specialized expertise in security posture
• Hands on experience with DBT
• Experience with self-hosted and SaaS software applications
• Docker/Podman/Kubernetes experience
