Data Scientist (Autonomy Behavior Monitoring)

As a Data Scientist in the Autonomy Integration Metrics team, you will design and implement metrics to assess AV performance, build data pipelines and dashboards, analyze vehicle logs and simulation data, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Design, develop, and implement quantitative behavior metrics that assess AV performance across diverse driving scenarios and geofences.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and dashboards to track simulation and fleet metrics across geographies and software versions.
• Identify performance gaps and regressions by analyzing large-scale vehicle logs and simulation data.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and distill complex technical requirements from diverse stakeholders
• Experience working with time-series or sensor data; familiarity with robotics or AV data is a plus
• Strong proficiency in Python in production environments with standard repo practices
• 2+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on metric design and development or performance evaluation
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency in C++
• Experience with simulation-based validation and metrics
