As a Firmware Validation Engineer, you will validate firmware functionality at various levels, ensuring reliable operation within the vehicle platform. Your work will directly impact the quality and readiness of customer-facing features. You will collaborate closely with firmware developers, systems engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust and reliable features to production.

  • Validar la funcionalidad del firmware a nivel de componente, subsistema y sistema, asegurando que las características funcionen de manera confiable dentro de la plataforma del vehículo.
  • Definir y desarrollar planes de prueba completos basados en los requisitos, rastrear los casos de prueba a los requisitos, establecer criterios de aprobación/rechazo y refinar los requisitos en función de los resultados de las pruebas.
  • Colaborar con ingenieros de sistemas, firmware y hardware para garantizar que las implementaciones cumplan con los requisitos y la funcionalidad deseada de acuerdo con los requisitos del producto.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and ability to quickly adapt to changes
  • Experience writing code with source control (Git)
  • BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or Systems Engineering
  • Test automation with Python or other scripting languages
  • Experience parsing and analyzing log data/source code and identifying rootcause
  • Experience with continuous integration/deployment systems
  • Experience with Python testing frameworks (Robot, pytest, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of components/systems such as drive unit, power steering, actuators, braking systems, powertrain and their interactions
  • Experience using tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Polarion/JAMA/Doors, XRAY, etc

  • Ability to develop test plans based on FMEA/vehicle safety concepts analysis
  • Experience in systems validation or integration
  • 4+ years of experience in developing or testing embedded software
  • Hands-on technical experience debugging complex systems involving networked microprocessors and software-controlled electrical or electromechanical devices
