About The Role

As a Simulation Expert (Triage Engineer), you will play a crucial role in evaluating and synthesizing AI-driven performance in large-scale simulations. You will coordinate the weekly triage process, provide expert analysis of simulation results, and work cross-functionally with various engineering teams. Coordination and execution of the weekly triage process, including expert triage of simulation results and communication with AI developers.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide reliable measures of AI performance and recommend improvements to the triage process.
Identification of trends in system failures and alignment of AI performance metrics across teams.
Experience with Git, Agile methodologies, and scripting/programming languages (preferably Python)
5+ years of experience in systems troubleshooting and diagnostics, preferably in the automotive or other industry where safety is critical
Experience in a Quality Assurance or Triage role for Autonomous Driving
Experience with root causes analysis of an autonomous vehicle stack
